How To:

Start Standing holding a dowel behind your back as shown. The dowel is intended to help keep the arm straight. Shift your body so that it is centered over your “invovled” leg. If you feel comfortable, lift the opposite heel to encourage more weight on the involved leg. If feel that your involved leg is able to support your body weight with the heel lift. Advance this exercise by stepping the uninvolved foot forward. Pay special attention to keep your chest pointing straight in front of you or slightly toward the ceiling.
